Employment Health Associate/Senior Associate (4+ PQE)Bristol | Birmingham | Leeds (Hybrid Working)

A top-ranked national law firm is looking for a skilled Employment Associate or Senior Associate to join its expert Employment, Pensions & Immigration team. This role focuses on the health and care sector, with opportunities to support clients across other sectors such as local government, higher education, commercial, housing and finance.

The Role:

As a key member of this national employment team, you will:

  • Manage your own complex caseload with autonomy
  • Support senior partners on high-profile matters across various offices
  • Supervise junior colleagues and contribute to their development
  • Handle a mix of contentious and non-contentious work
  • Deliver training and support client relationship management
  • Act as employment support on corporate/commercial transactions

This is a role for those who want to make an impact—advising on complex workforce matters, from TUPE and restructures to employment litigation in the Tribunal, EAT, or High Court.

What You’ll Need:

  • 4+ years’ PQE with a broad employment background
  • Strong litigation and/or advocacy experience
  • TUPE, redundancy and transactional due diligence knowledge
  • Confident advising on NHS workforce issues (a plus, not essential)
  • Ability to draft and negotiate warranties and indemnities
  • Skilled in training delivery and client management
  • Experience supervising junior team members
