They are currently going through an exciting time of growth and are looking to hire an experienced Managing Associate to join their team in Bristol.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a dynamic technology and commercial team to handle high-value, strategic procurements and contracts
  • Provide expert advice on various technology projects, including framework agreements, software purchases, and digital transformation projects
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering a supportive and driven environment
  • Play an active role in business development, preparing pitches and building client relationships
  • Work on-site with clients as needed, including virtual and in-person secondments

Skills:

  • Proven experience advising on technology transactions and procurements for clients in the Financial Services sector
  • Minimum of 5 years post-qualified experience within the Technology/Commercial team of a national or specialist law firm, or relevant in-house legal team
  • Motivated self-starter with ambitions to lead and deliver complex, strategic client work
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting, and contracting skills
  • Client-focused approach with a knack for developing long-lasting relationships
  • Drive and ambition to contribute as a key senior member of our client's team, while also helping to enhance the firm's local and national offerings
