Planning Associate (4PQE+) - Cardiff/BristolI'm looking to speak with Planning Associates, interested in making a move to a Top Tier Legal 500 firm. Based in Cardiff or Bristol, with hybrid working options (2 days from home), this full-time, permanent role offers direct client exposure, complex legal work, and clear career progression. The firm is known for its collaborative culture and high-quality legal services, advising major developers, investors, local authorities, and corporate occupiers on large-scale developments, infrastructure projects, and environmental matters. You’ll handle planning applications, appeals, judicial reviews, and key planning agreements, providing strategic advice on sustainability and ESG issues. Beyond technical work, you’ll have opportunities to build strong client relationships, contribute to business development, and collaborate across teams. You’ll also mentor junior colleagues and work closely with senior associates and partners. Ideally, you will have at least 4 years’ PQE in planning law, strong technical expertise, and commercial awareness. Experience with Section 106 agreements, infrastructure projects, or environmental law is an advantage. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected team, working on major projects with top-tier clients.
