I am currently recruiting for a full-time remote Solicitor or FCILEx to join the Employment team on behalf of a highly regarded National Legal 500 Law Firm.

This position offers a competitive salary along with a range of additional benefits, including full-time remote working with very rare, occasional visits to the Bristol office, a bonus scheme, flexible working hours, and annual salary reviews.The ideal candidate will manage a caseload of legal expense insurer files, with opportunities to engage in non-contentious tasks as needed. There may also be potential for overseeing junior case handlers. This role is perfect for a solicitor with extensive experience in employment law who is looking for a challenging and rewarding role in a collaborative, fully remote, and supportive environment.Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on potential Employment Tribunal claims.
  • Managing a caseload of Employment Tribunal claims, including drafting pleadings, witness statements, negotiating settlements, and instructing counsel or advocates as necessary.
  • Ensuring compliance with insurer service level agreements.
  • Supporting the team with non-contentious work, such as preparing contractual documentation, handbooks, and providing reactive and proactive employment advice to commercial clients.
  • Contributing to marketing initiatives, including writing employment law updates and delivering training sessions to clients.
  • Using the firm’s case management system to progress files, and handling billing and invoicing.
