Position: Employment Law Solicitor/FCILEx Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 Location: Bristol – Hybrid/Remote Overview: A Legal 200 firm are currently recruiting for their Bristol based Employment team. Based across the UK with some remote workers, the employment law team includes solicitors, paralegals, and trainees. They handle Employment Tribunal claims for employees and employers, advise on workplace issues such as disciplinaries, grievances, restructures, and business transfers, and frequently draft settlement agreements. Work arrangements include a combination of remote work and 1-2 days per week in the office (flexible). There is the potential to agree fully remote working, with occasional office attendance. You would need the infrastructure in place to work from home. The Role Reporting to the Employment Law Group partner, the role involves managing a personal caseload of up to 40 complex, high-value cases, overseeing client relationships, and supervising a team of up to four case handlers or two supervisors with diverse caseloads and experience. Who You will be passionate about employment law, skilled in delivering commercial, practical solutions with excellent communication and time management. You should handle diverse work types and clients flexibly, take responsibility for case strategy with support, and have significant experience running and supervising Employment Tribunal cases. The role requires adherence to insurer SLAs, deadlines, and a collaborative approach to team supervision, training, and development, setting an inspiring example and fostering high performance. It would be beneficial if you have experience in business development, diverse litigation sources and funding arrangements, a balance of respondent and claimant work, team collaboration, and handling insurance-funded clients. Why:
