We are currently seeking dedicated SEN Behaviour Mentors to work with students in Bristol. As anSEN Behaviour Mentor, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with special educational needs to reach their full potential.
About the role:
- Assist in the implementation of individual education plans for students with SEN
- Provide one-to-one support to students with varying needs
- Work closely with tutor and other support staff to create a supportive learning environment
- Help students develop their social and emotional skills
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to the teaching team
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a compassionate nature
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications in education or special needs support
