Office based - central Bristol

Tate are working with a local authority in their search for an experienced Legal Assistant on a temporary basis.

You would be based across two teams:

  • Supporting the Civil Team - for Housing Disrepair with administrative procedures involved in the early stages of litigation process
  • Supporting the Regulatory / Prosecution Team with single justice procedure cases and prosecutions. You would be managing administrative tasks and service documents.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with casework with legal officers and lawyers.
  • Opening and maintaining all files on the case management system.
  • Preparing draft court applications based on precedents for the solicitor to review
  • Issuing and serving court documentation in accordance with court rules

To be considered its essential you have legal experience within civil and/or prosecution teams.
