Paralegal - Employment Law
Salary: £24,000 - £32,000 (dependent on experience)Location: Bristol / RemoteContract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
The Opportunity
We are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Paralegal to join a dynamic Employment Law team. This exciting opportunity offers flexibility in location, with options to work from Bristol, or fully remotely. The role involves managing a caseload of Employment Tribunal files and supporting the team with non-contentious work. Prior experience in employment law and case handling is essential.
You will predominantly work on claimant tribunal litigation, with opportunities to assist on respondent litigation. The caseload will include high-quality matters such as discrimination and protected disclosure cases. The role offers excellent scope for developing legal skills within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising clients on potential Employment Tribunal claims.
- Managing a caseload of Employment Tribunal claims, including drafting pleadings, witness statements, and negotiating settlements.
- Instructing counsel or advocates as necessary.
- Ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
- Providing support to other team members with their caseloads.
Working Arrangements
- Hybrid Working: Combine office and home-based working (e.g., 2 days in the office and 3 days at home). Fully remote options may be available for candidates with relevant experience.
- Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 8am-6pm. Part-time applications are also welcome.
