You’ll be part of a busy and successful conveyancing team, managing a varied caseload with the support of a dedicated Paralegal and Legal Secretary. The RoleAs a Residential Conveyancer, you will handle a caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity. You’ll also have the opportunity to engage with local estate agents and develop strong client relationships.
Key ResponsibilitiesFee-Earning Work:-
Managing residential property transactions from start to finish.

Interviewing clients, taking instructions, and maintaining accurate file notes.

Conducting compliance checks, reviewing source of funds evidence, and ensuring AML compliance.

Drafting and reviewing contract packs, raising enquiries, and submitting searches.

Preparing title, mortgage, and search reports.
-
Acting for mortgage lenders and overseeing contract exchanges.

Providing clients with clear, timely updates on case progress and costs.

Drafting and reviewing legal documents and agreements.
-
Participating in marketing and business development, including networking and social media engagement.

Preparing bills of costs, completion statements, and managing funds transfers.

Handling client account transactions in line with firm policies.

Ensuring all financial procedures are compliant with regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will:

Be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer.

Have previous experience handling residential property transactions, ideally within the Bristol market.

Hold a Law degree or CILEx Professional Qualification (CPQ).

Be IT-savvy and confident using legal case management systems.

Have excellent client care skills, with a personable and professional approach.

Be proactive in business development, including networking and social media engagement.
