We are working with a boutique IP law firm in their search for a Trade Mark Administrator. The is a standalone role and will support attorneys with a varied range of trade mark administration duties from filing through to registration.

Your duties will include:

  • Filing new trade mark applications directly at IPOs
  • Instructing foreign agents
  • Creating case on Inprotech
  • Processing and docketing incoming communications
  • Maintaining Inprotech
  • Reporting to clients
  • Managing a busy diary and critical reminder list
  • Providing paralegals with support and undertaking additional elements of paralegal work

Previous TM experience is desirable but not absolutely essential, general IP experience is sufficient. The ideal candidate will have a good attention to details, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

This is a hybrid role working a minimum of one day a week in the office, but the candidate will be free to attend the office more often. During the initial weeks/months attendance will be 2 days per week for training, and there may be other times, for example due to attorney workload, when attendance is required more than one day per week.
