Are you someone with experience working with children from challenging backgrounds?
Have you previously worked as a youth worker or something similar?
A Primary School in the Bristol area is currently looking for a number of candidates to join their team as a Learning Mentor.
You will be joining a school who are dedicated to supporting children and their families on an educational and personal level. They are very committed to bringing a safe and friendly environment to the children’s lives.
The Role
These positions are full-time positions where you will be supporting small groups of children and children on a 1 to 1 basis who have a range of behavioural needs.
You will be expected to support the Class Teacher and work with children within the classroom who have behavioural, SEMH and other SEND needs.
You will be expected to:

Have high expectations for the individual to succeed.

Have experience working with children from difficult backgrounds.

Work closely with the SENDCo to understand the child’s needs.

Create a stimulating and purposeful environment

Manage and Support with the child’s needs.

Assess and communicate the individuals’ successes and developments.
Working with Long-term Teachers:
