IBP are excited to be recruiting a Fleet Supervisor to be part of our client’s busy team in Bristol covering the South West Region on a fixed term 6 month contract.

This is a key role within the Plant & Fleet Department, working alongside the Plant & Fleet Manager you will be responsible for daily activities & support the operational teams within the region keeping them legal and compliant.

The main duties include but are not limited to:

  • Take responsibility for continuous improvement and safety performance of the transport fleet, utilising telematics data and coaching underperforming drivers.
  • Take the lead in all investigations of Motor Vehicle Incidents to establish the causation and remedial actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Work with the Fleet team and HR team in addressing road vehicle offences and prevention methods.
  • Responsible for ensuring that reported complaints & issues are investigated.
  • Liaise with all Regions, Departments and business functions, build excellent working relationships and encourage a One Team approach.
  • Take on new assignments when required.
  • Provide assistance and cover for all levels in all regions as business need dictates.
