IBP are currently recruting for a Plant, Fleet and Logistics Assisatnt based in Bristol. 

You will be undertaking a key role within our Transport and Logistics Team ensuring all vehicles are kept in a safe, roadworthy and legal condition, to maintain compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies and rules, and to challenge any non-conformity where necessary. Your keen eye and strong attention to detail will help you monitor the Realtime movements of the fleet using the latest Telematics software. 

You will also be responsible for ensuring that our assets and equipment are maintained and tracked across the business, conducting safety inspections and auditing equipment, this will require you to travel to some of our other sites in the South West and as no two days can be the same, a level of flexibility and ownership will be required to allow you to respond and react to changing business needs.

Full training and support will be provided

The main duties include the responsibility for the following

  • Monitoring vehicle audits and challenging non-compliance.
  • Effective tracking of vehicles & assets
  • Controlling leaver / new starter vehicles.
  • New starter inductions.
  • General office duties.

The Ideal candidate must possess the following skills and experience:

  • No two days can be the same, a level of flexibility and ownership will be required to allow you to respond and react to changing business needs.
  • Good communication skills – be able to confidently conversate at all levels.
  • Strong Excel & Outlook skills required
  • Good technology skills.
  • Ability to interoperate and understand legislation. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and admin skills. 
  • Full Manual Driving Licence.
