Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Stock Controller to join the team in Avonmouth. Join a great team with friendly staff and lots of training and opportunity to progress.
Hours and Pay
- £28-30,000 basic salary.
- Overtime after 45 hours, paid at time and a half.
- Working Monday to Friday with optional overtime on Saturday.
- Start/finish times can be flexible! You will need to work 45 hours per week between 07:00 to 18:00.
As a Stock Controller your role will involve:
- Perform regular stock checks for warehouses as required.
- Keep stock checked areas paperwork for yearly audit evidence
- Complete a 100% stock check at least once a year
- Ensure that any stock coming back into the warehouse is located correctly
- Notify the correct people if there is a stock level issue
- Continuously develop space to suit the growing demand /storage requirement
- Ensure stock is stored correctly and safely
- Assist Group warehouse manager with other projects around the group with possible overnight stays with sufficient notice
- Improve & implement processes when necessary
- When necessary assist warehouse with day to day responsibilities.
Requirements
- Previous Forklift driving experience.
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence.
- A positive, can-do attitude.
- Good level of customer service.
