About the job

  • Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse
  • Manage a small team and evaluate performance against established KPIs and customer SLAs
  • Ensure all required reports are completed accurately and on time.
  • Being hands-on in the warehouse, including regular lifting, carrying and driving
  • Provide a hand-over at the end of your shift
  • Operating PPT / FLT
  • Occasional requirements to drive company van

The right candidate

  • Full UK manual driving licence
  • Indate external counterbalance forklift certificate ( desireable )
  • Experience using a PPT truck
  • Minimum of two years’ supervisory experience within a distribution environment.
  • Be adaptable regarding working hours and support other resources as needed.
  • Basic understanding of Human Resources processes specifically; absence management, conduct management and performance management
  • Basic IT skills including use of Microsoft works
