Job Title: Machine Tool Service Engineer
Location: Based within an hour of Bristol, covering customer sites
Pay Range/Details: £35,000 (DOE) + Overtime + Bonus Scheme
Contract Type: Permanent
Omega are supporting a leading machine tool supplier in their search for an experienced Machine Tool Service Engineer to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for both field and in-house machinery service, maintenance, and installation.
Key Responsibilities – Machine Tool Service Engineer
- Decommission and install machinery at customer sites, including CNC, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, and drive trains.
- Provide first-line breakdown service and maintenance for machine tools and industrial plant systems.
- Assist with in-house machinery preparation, including powering up machines for showroom demonstrations.
- Complete service reports, timesheets, and relevant documentation in line with company procedures.
- Work closely with customers, acting as an ambassador for the company.
Qualifications & Requirements – Machine Tool Service Engineer
- Apprentice-trained with mechanical and electrical knowledge.
- Experience with machine tools or industrial plant systems (CNC experience desirable).
- Ability to fault-find and repair mechanical and hydraulic systems.
