Job Title: Machine Tool Service Engineer

Omega are supporting a leading machine tool supplier in their search for an experienced Machine Tool Service Engineer to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for both field and in-house machinery service, maintenance, and installation.

Key Responsibilities – Machine Tool Service Engineer

  • Decommission and install machinery at customer sites, including CNC, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, and drive trains.
  • Provide first-line breakdown service and maintenance for machine tools and industrial plant systems.
  • Assist with in-house machinery preparation, including powering up machines for showroom demonstrations.
  • Complete service reports, timesheets, and relevant documentation in line with company procedures.
  • Work closely with customers, acting as an ambassador for the company.

Qualifications & Requirements – Machine Tool Service Engineer

  • Apprentice-trained with mechanical and electrical knowledge.
  • Experience with machine tools or industrial plant systems (CNC experience desirable).
  • Ability to fault-find and repair mechanical and hydraulic systems.
