Morson is currentyl recuriting a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join cour comosites manufacturing client on a 6-month contract, to contribute to ground-breaking programmes in composite technologies across multiple sectors. These projects represent some of the most significant and complex challenges our client has undertaken, and we're looking for experts to help them deliver innovative solutions.

Manufacturing Excellence
- Proven experience in leading manufacturing processes and production activities.
- Strong understanding of the manufacturing engineering toolkit with hands-on shop-floor problem-solving expertise.
- Passion for implementing best practices and driving excellence in manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and evaluating quality control processes, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring robust manufacturing governance.
- Analyzing manufacturing metrics, including cycle time, reliability, accuracy, and downtime, and producing actionable reports.
- Utilizing Lean Six Sigma principles and conducting root cause analysis to enhance operations.
- Leading New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and managing manufacturing-related research projects.
Process Engineering
- Evaluating and improving manufacturing processes with a focus on risk, cost, time, and quality.
- Managing projects from inception to delivery while meeting customer needs and expectations.
Innovation
- Applying innovative approaches to solve engineering challenges across multiple sectors and composite manufacturing processes.
- Implementing new methods and procedures to manufacture components efficiently, meeting time, cost, and quality goals.
Data-Driven Manufacturing
- Leveraging test plans and process trends to optimize manufacturing performance.
- Experience with digital engineering and the effective use of manufacturing data is a strong advantage.
Composite Manufacturing
- Knowledge of composite manufacturing processes is beneficial but not essential. If you understand the challenges of the industry, that's a bonus.
