We are seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant. This role is crucial in providing comprehensive administrative support to both leaders and their teams within the Directorate of Performance and Delivery. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing daily operations, coordinating meetings, and supporting project management activities.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Manage diary entries, schedule meetings, and prepare necessary documentation for the Head of MH & LDA and Head of Integrated Care.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and room bookings for meetings and events.
  • Take minutes during meetings and maintain action logs to ensure follow-ups.
  • Handle incoming mail and emails, distribute communications as appropriate, and manage a shared mailbox.
  • Provide support in organising events, including managing invitations and coordinating logistical requirements.
  • Oversee annual leave requests, equipment orders, and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist in the preparation of performance reports and improvement briefings for the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant field, or significant proven experience in a similar role.
  • Strong administrative and secretarial experience, including managing office systems and handling sensitive information.
  • Proficient in IT systems including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of handling complex queries and providing clear instructions.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Experience in minute-taking and managing confidential communications.
