- We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Engineering Department in a growing aerospace manufacturing company in Bristol.
- The ideal candidate should have a proven background in design and manufacturing engineering, particularly in aerospace or precision-driven industries.
- This role requires previous supervisory or managerial experience and a strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and specialized processes.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (CAD/CAM) and CNC machining processes is essential for this position.
- The salary for this role is competitive, and candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and maintaining engineering systems, ensuring compliance with AS9100 and Sabre4 standards, and leading product and systems conformance efforts. You'll also manage and mentor a talented team of CAD/CAM Development Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, and NPI Engineers.
What we're looking for:
- Proven expertise in both design and manufacturing engineering within aerospace or other precision-driven industries.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and specialized processes such as coatings.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (CAD/CAM) and CNC machining processes, including milling and turning.
