The Company
I am working with a leading manufacturing in Bristol, who are a supplier into the major Aerospace companies. They are looking for an experience engineering manager, who has industry experience and strong CNC machining skills. You will be responsible for all new product development and taking products through to manufacturing.
The Role
- Responsible for managing a multi-disciplined team including CAD/CAM technicians, NPI engineers and Manufacturing engineers
- Liaising with customers about products from an engineering aspect
- Generate and implementing engineering plans on CNC systems
- Developing, implementing and maintaining engineering systems to AS9100 and Sabre4 standards
Key Skills
- Strong understanding of CNC machine strategy, tooling, fixtures and highly precise machining
- Experience as an Engineering Manager or in a similar role
- Experience with a wide range of materials
- Ability to read and understand technicial drawings
- Experience with Solidowrks or similar CAD package
- Experience in Aerospace manufacturing
- Knowledge of AS9100 and Sabre4 standards
Hours and Package
- Monday to Friday 7-4.30 (half day on Friday)
- £65,000 - £70,000 + Bonus
- 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
