Location - North Bristol / South Gloucestershire area

Acorn by Synergie are in the market for a site manager for a privately owned SME who specialise in the domestic market with extensions, alterations and refurbishments and carry a range of direct tradespeople from Carpentry through to Mechanical & Electrical.

It is very much a family feel with employees working closely together as a team and ensuring that quality and customer service are top priorities for the business. They pride themselves on being polite, positive and good communicators. The company has an excellent local reputation and operate in mainly the North Bristol and South Gloucestershire area.

Through solid consistent growth they are now in a position to employ a site manager to oversee delivery of projects which range from around 150k - 1m in value.

The Role:-

As site manager for this business you will be 'off the tools' and taking responsibility for the successful delivery of projects. This will include:-

  • Liaising between - Customer, Architects, workforce and any other associated stakeholders
  • Organising of labour, plant and materials
  • Managing and implementing safety standards and good practices of work.
  • Overseeing more than one project at a time subject to the size and scope of works

Ideally we would like to begin this role on a freelance basis with the ambition that if everyone is happy for it to move to a permanent role.

The person:-

  • Polite, friendly, customer focused in line with the company values.
  • experienced tradesman looking for step into management
  • Good technical knowledge of domestic construction projects ideally with a trade background
  • Excellent team player
  • Good organisational and leadership skills
  • Full UK Driving license

Salary:-

Salary for this position is between 240 and 260/day with long term prospects of an employed role this will depend on experience.
