Resourcing Group are activley recruiting for an Experienced Site Manager to deliever Local Authority major refurbishment projects within Bristol, on a permenant basis.

Salary: Up to 55,000 + Benefits

Our client is a main contractor involved in void maintenance, large-scale refurbishment, external works in compliance with PAS 9980, and energy efficiency works under PAS 2035. This is a key role, where they are looking for a highly skilled individual who can manage the financial aspects of projects and help deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

To be accountable & responsible for the day to day running of a particular operational site (Multi site where necessary) ensuring all aspects of the company's policies & procedures are always adhered to and any additional specific site requirements made known by the client. Key performance indicators are achieved across all areas to include managing & developing the team & individuals, productivity, customer care requirements & quality.

To consistently achieve the business's core competencies in relation to customer focus, communication, health & safety & quality, teamwork & managing & developing the team.
To control actual & potential areas of waste across all key performance indicators through fair & consistent application of all internal policies & procedures.
Ensure all new & existing employees are trained in departmental procedures & regular performance reviews are undertaken & recorded, identifying areas of performance that may require additional training or coaching & take action to implement solutions.
Ensure agreed process control & trace-ability checks are completed accurately in order to meet internal &/or external requirements.
Arrange & attend department or other meetings as required.
Identify ways to improve production processes & take action to implement solutions
Plan, develop & implement the site/sites strategy so as to meet agreed organisational performance plans.
Establish & maintain systems for measuring people development & targets & objectives.
To carry out company people policies in a fair & consistent way. e.: recruitment, disciplinary etc.
Manage & develop your team to ensure team & individual motivation is achieved & to develop key behavioural competencies.
To embrace & encourage a positive approach towards change.

Core Skills and Experience

5+ years experience in a similar role

5+ years in a similar business

SMSTS - Fire Marshal - Asbestos awareness - First aid
Excellent communication skills (including presentation skills)
Ability to use/update Project programs - Excel/Word
