  • The working schedule includes a 40-hour week, with travel compensated after 30 minutes each way and an on-call rota of 1 in 10 weeks.

Air Conditioning Engineer or Refrigeration / Chiller Engineer required. Our client specializes in the service & maintenance of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning & chiller units throughout the U.K, with multiple offices around the country. Our client is looking for a number of engineers and will consider an engineer with air conditioning experience, refrigeration experience or / and chiller experience to join their ever-expanding team, to work in and around the Bristol area. The client would also consider less experienced engineers, with 2 / 3 years' experience in any of the above mentioned disciplines.

The Service Engineer will be expected to service & maintain either a variety of either air conditioning systems such as VRV's, VRF's and splits etc. or refrigeration systems, depending on experience and would ideally have experience, carrying out servicing works on Water Chillers and air-cooled chillers. Sites will vary, including data centres, healthcare sites and educational sites. The more multi-skilled the engineer, the more advantageous.

The service engineer must hold their F-Gas cat 1 as a minimum with an NVQ level 2 or equivalent in air conditioning and refrigeration. It would be highly advantageous for the engineer to hold some form of electrical qualifications.

Service Engineer Position Requirements

  • Experience carrying out servicing and repair on air conditioning and / or Refrigeration, depending on experience
  • Experience servicing Water Chiller units, highly advantageous
  • Based within commutable distance to the Bristol area
  • Full Driving Licence
  • F-gas Cat 1

Service Engineer Engineer Remuneration

  • Basic Salary from £35,000 (improver level) up to £50,000 (Experienced engineers with some chiller experience)
  • Company Vehicle provided - Optional personal use of Van.
  • 25 days' holiday + Bank Holidays
  • 40 hour working week - plus travel paid, after 30mins each way
  • Overtime paid at additional rates - 1.5 & 2x
  • On call rota 1 in 10 weeks.
