Are you a skilled Domestic Gas Engineer looking to join a company that values its employees and offers opportunities for growth?This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading mechanical and electrical building services provider, known for maintaining a positive work culture and fostering employee development.In this role, you will be involved in both maintenance and installation of heating systems across a range of domestic and commercial sites, including hospitality, education, healthcare, and office buildings. Covering planned maintenance, breakdowns, and building compliance, you will be covering the Southwest and M4 corridor up to London.Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Gas Safety inspections and perform servicing of gas appliances in line with manufacturer instructions.
  • Provide reactive maintenance for a variety of boilers and heating systems.
  • Adhere strictly to Health & Safety procedures and relevant industry standards, including performing risk assessments and ensuring all work complies with company protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by working overtime when needed and participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota to meet customer expectations.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Fully qualified in domestic heating systems, with expertise in fault-finding and central heating controls.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Essential qualifications include CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, and G3 Unvented Hot Water Systems certification.
  • Knowledge of system controls, basic electrics, and heating wiring.
  • IT literacy for completing work-related documentation, possibly using an iPad.
  • Clean driving license.

Desirable Skills:

  • OFTEC qualifications (OFT10-101, OFT10-105E, and OFT10-600a).
  • Electrical qualifications, such as 17th/18th Edition or Part P, would be advantageous.
