Fluid Mechanical Design Engineer

Certain Advantage is hiring for a Fluid Mechanical Design Engineer based in Filton.

This role is on a contract basis and is hybrid-based.

The Company

We're working with a Manufacturing business that operates in the Aerospace sector. They design, manufacture and deliver industry-leading commercial aircraft, and separate Space and Defense division.

The Role:

This role is for a Fluid Mechanical Design Engineer -someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You'll be results-orientated and driven to succeed.

You'll be leading a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:

  • Completing the detailed design phase and passing CDR (critical design review).
  • Developing and implementing the build plan.
  • Leading the Verification and Validation of the built test rig.
The Individual

We're looking for people who can show:

  • Laboratory test & hazardous environment.
  • Systems testing techniques.
  • Familiarity with Hydro Mechanical instrumentation installations and Large, High Pressure, Fluid Mechanical Systems
