Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Junior Air Conditioning Engineer to join our clients growing team in Bristol. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their skills and knowledge in the air conditioning industry. You will assist in the maintenance, and servicing of air conditioning systems across a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the service and maintenance of air conditioning systems.
- Perform routine servicing and troubleshooting of air conditioning units.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Diagnose and repair faults on air conditioning systems.
- Provide excellent customer service while working at client sites.
- Work closely with senior engineers to learn best practices and improve technical skills.
- Maintain and update service records and job logs.
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and machinery are well-maintained and in good working order.
- Attend training and development sessions as required.
- Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure high levels of safety, quality, and compliance.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Must have F-Gas 2079 qualification.
- A basic understanding of air conditioning systems and technologies.
- Some experience in air conditioning service and repair (desired but not essential).
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, or equivalent) or a willingness to pursue further certifications.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A strong commitment to safety and quality work.
- Full UK driving license (required for client site visits).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and progress in the field.
