Monday to Friday – Contracted 40 Hours per Week 

Mechanically biased Field Service Engineer required for a professional and friendly engineering company. This is a great opportunity to get stuck into a busy and varied role. 

The successful Mechanical Technician will hold a relevant mechanical qualification and can come from any industrial background. You will work flexibly, being part of a team and also working alone and managing your time effectively. 

Working alongside an electrically biased engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and servicing of pumping equipment. This role is based from client sites in Bristol, however, occasional further travel will be required, and so the successful candidate will on average stay away up to 1-2x nights per week.

The Mechanical Engineer Role: 

· Attending breakdowns where necessary
· Service, repair and assembly of pumping equipment
· Complete site reports after each visit and obtain customer signature.
· Driving to and from sites nationwide
· Working alongside an electrical technician.
· Be responsible for petty cash and company credit cards. 

The Successful Mechanical Engineer: 

· Hold a Mechanical Qualification and experience, although the background/industry can be varied.
· You will need to be able to work flexibly, work well as part of a team and be able to manage your own time effectively.
· Pump experience advantageous – not essential
