Then reach out! Kingston Barnes is now recruiting for an exciting position for a Generator Engineer for one of our clients working within the Bristol area.

The Company:

A company specialising in the hire, installation and maintenance of Diesel Generators. The companys products apply to a variety of industries, and they have a solid customer base. They have steadily grown over the last few years and are now looking to take on a Generator Engineer.

The Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a range of generators in a workshop environment. The successful candidate will have good engineering knowledge across the mechanical engineering discipline and some electrical knowledge. A background working on diesel generators at 230kva or above is a necessary requirement.

Requirements:

A relevant qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Diesel Fitting, or Plant Maintenance (e.g., City & Guilds, BTEC, or equivalent).

Alternatively, completion of an approved apprenticeship in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent proven experience in servicing and repairing large diesel engines
