This opportunity allows you to work with a well-established heavy machinery provider that specializes in engineering and asset management, along with engineering support and fleet management for Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) in the quarry and waste sectors. The role involves the service and maintenance of Heavy Plant Equipment, including fault finding, planned preventative maintenance, and conducting thorough inspections of machinery. Additionally, you will complete job activities electronically, ensuring that all required parts for tasks are ordered, while maintaining the company vehicle to a high standard and ensuring it is properly stocked.
This position is ideal for a Mechanical Engineer with a background in Heavy Plant Equipment or similar, looking to join a well-managed and efficient company. The role offers a structured work routine, numerous overtime opportunities to boost your earnings, and the potential to progress from an engineer role to regional or national management positions.
The Role:
- Maintenance and repair of Heavy Plant Equipment
- Monday to Friday (8am - 4:30pm)
- Overtime available at time & a half, with weekend overtime paid at double time
The Person:
- Mechanical Engineer or similar background
- Experience with Heavy Equipment
- Full UK Driving License
