About The Role:We have an exciting opportunity for a Plumbing & Fabric Engineer to join our team on a full time permanent basis for the largest shopping centre within the South West. This role will involve working a variable shift pattern, rota of 40 hours per week which will include working 1 weekend out of every 5 weeks with late shifts twice a week. Monday to Friday around client trading hours.

The main area of focus on this role will be plumbing, to include drainage tasks however occasionally you will be required to carry out general maintenance and statutory compliance checks. You will also be required to have basic fabric maintenance skills, ideally with experience working in a commercial setting.

The role will require client engagement and a willingness to provide the best possible solutions to meet the client's needs.Experience of working with a CAFM system is desirable as all work is managed via a CAFM based solution.As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Completion of PPM to all Mechanical / Plumbing elements of the building.
  • Completion of reactive tasks as required / directed
  • Completion of ad-hoc building services works
  • Completion of quoted works both inside and outside of normal working hours
  • Occasional report writing
  • Supporting sub contractors which are carrying out works on behalf of OCS
  • Comply with company Health Safety & Environmental procedures.
  • Ensuring the building is compliant within ACOP L8 Water Safety Regulations
  • Be an ambassador for OCS, maintain their core values
  • Carry out any further reasonable requests made by management

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • You must have the right to work in the UK
  • City and Guilds or NVQ level 3 in Mechanical or Plumbing, General building skills
  • Must hold a full UK driving license
  • Client facing - able to communicate at all levels
  • Enhanced DBS Check will be required.
