An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Engineer to join a well-established mechanical heating & plumbing company based in Bristol covering the local area, Bath, Swindon, and Gloucester
The Company is a privately-owned mechanical services company specialising in heating, plumbing, rainwater and architectural products, air conditioning, and renewable technologies.
They offer a complete range of solutions from the design, installation and servicing of commercial systems to the regular service and repair of domestic units
You will be largely self-managed and involved with working in Natural Gas, LPG, and Oil mainly on commercial and industrial sites, carrying out fault finding, maintenance, repairs, and annual servicing. There are also some smaller elements of domestic work required for our loyal private client base
Requirements
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Qualified in commercial & domestic natural gas, LPG & oil
- Holding certification in any additional field, i.e. Part P, COMCAT, F-GAS, etc would be advantageous
- DBS dated within 3 years
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Must hold full valid UK drivers licence (max. 3 points)
- Must be fit and healthy to carry out a wide range of physical activities
- Comfortable with time management

- Commercial natural gas: CDGA1, CORT1, CIGA1, CODNC01, ICPN1, TPCP1 / 1A
- Domestic natural gas: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, MET1
- LPG: CONGL1PD
- Oil: OFTEC 101, 105E, 600a
- Plumbing/Heating: HWSS (incl. G3)
- CSCScard
- Salary/package
- 42k - 52k pa (negotiable depending on experience and qualifications)
- 40 hours p/w + OT opportunities
- Weekly on-call rota of 1/6 with a 100 standby fee
