Venn Group Systems Support Engineer (Aerospace)BPSS+ Clearance 6 Month+ Contract Hybrid working in Bristol £45-£52 per hour (Inside IR35, Umbrella)

Our market-leading client are looking for a Systems Support Engineer to join them on a long-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identity top issues affecting the Landing Gear products in-service collaborating with the In-Service Engineering Department
  • Propose solutions for the root cause of issues which could be as important as an equipment redesign
  • Work in a fast-paced environment answering reactive queries coming in through the In-Service Engineering department in order to limit the time customers’ aircraft are stuck on-ground
  • Support the development of engineering solutions and/or studies such as envelop cases aiming at providing ready-to-use material to the Airbus customer facing teams
  • Work alongside several different departments including In-Service Engineering, Technical Data, stakeholders and suppliers/engineering service partners

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Experience working with multiple departments and working in a customer-facing environment
  • Experience of structural analysis
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical engineering within aerospace/landing gear systems
  • Previous experience creating solutions from root cause analysis

Desirable:

  • Hydro mechanical experience would be highly desirable
