Role: Mobile Powered Access Engineer

Basic Salary: up to 50,000
Additional Benefits: Van + Fuel Card + Paid Door to Door + Overtime = 1.5 rate
Platinum Recruitment is working with a large Powered Access hire company to find their next Mobile Powered Access Engineer to join their established team covering Birmingham and the Midlands.

Your responsibilities as a Mobile Powered Access Engineer will include:
- Servicing, repairs and breakdown maintenance of powered access machinery such as cherry pickers, MEWPs & booms.
- Carry out diagnostic testing to identify faults and issues
- Liaising with service and hire controllers to ensure that machinery is maintained to a high standard, on their specified schedules

Experience essential for this role as a Mobile Powered Access Engineer
- Full UK Driving Licence is required
- Level 3 NVQ in Plant Maintenance or a similar mechanical engineering qualification
- A good understanding of Hydraulic, Electric and Mechanical systems
- Previous experience maintaining, diagnosing and repairing faults with machinery, ideally powered access/MEWPs although other backgrounds can be considered.
