Position: Response Repairs Surveyor

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week

Pay Rate: 34 per hour PAYE

Location: Bristol

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Response Repairs Surveyor to join our team. This role involves surveying properties for residents, raising works orders with contractors, and monitoring the progress of repairs and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of damp and mould issues, as well as asbestos management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough property surveys for residents.
• Identify and assess repair and maintenance needs, particularly related to damp and mould issues.
• Raise detailed works orders with contractors and ensure timely execution of tasks.
• Monitor the progress of repairs and ensure all work meets the required standards.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with residents, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure all health and safety regulations, particularly concerning asbestos, are adhered to.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in property surveying and repairs.
• In-depth knowledge of damp and mould issues.
• Familiarity with asbestos regulations and management practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Calm, thoughtful, and methodical approach to work.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
