Senior Structural Engineer

Our client is an award-winning firm who have a history of delivering outstanding results. Their Bristol office is expanding the building structures team as their workload grows; they are seeking a senior structural engineer to play a key role in the delivery of a range of projects. You will be responsible for the technical design and oversight of construction, ensuring highest standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery of high-quality design, inspections and on-site support for major infrastructure schemes
- Conducting concept and feasibility studies for multidisciplinary design projects
- Use of engineering software such as Tekla, IDEA, StatiCA, TEDDs, for analysis and design
- Prepare detailed technical calculations, material specifications and scopes of work
- Provide coordination and supervision between inter-disciplinary teams
- Mentor and support junior team members
About you:
- Degree in structural engineering
- Extensive technical design experience using British standards, international Codes and EuroCodes
- Expertise in RC and steelwork design
- Experience with seismic, dynamic and extreme environmental loading would be an advantage
- Ability to prepare and produce bids
- Strong communicator, able to develop long-lasting client relationships
