Job Description: Mobile Multiskilled Engineer
Location: Mobile, covering South West

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mobile Multiskilled Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks across various client sites within the South West. This role requires a proactive and adaptable individual with strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. You will be 18th Edition qualified and possess a solid understanding of engineering fundamentals.
Responsibilities:
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks across multiple disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, and building fabric.
- Diagnose and rectify faults on a variety of equipment and systems.
- Carry out electrical installations, testing, and inspections in accordance with the 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations.
- Respond to emergency callouts and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including job sheets and test certificates.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.
- Manage and maintain company vehicle and tools.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
- Utilize and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Apply knowledge of engineering fundamentals to effectively diagnose and resolve issues.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations qualification (essential).
- Completion of a recognized engineering fundamentals course or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in a multiskilled maintenance role.
- Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Full UK driving license (essential).
- Ability to work independently and manage own workload.
- Experience with building management systems (BMS) is desirable.
- Experience with HVAC systems is desirable.
