Location: Yate, Bristol, BS37 5NG

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 PA (Dependant on Experience)Job Type: Full - Time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, Working 08:00am to 16:30pm

Due to increased workloads, and operating from 4 sites in Yate, WH Bence is looking to recruit a Coachbuilder to join the Production Team.

About Us:

W H Bence is a specialist manufacturer of transportable solutions for the Medical, Emergency Services and Hospitality sectors.

Bence is a market leader in the design and build of mobiles for NHS and Private Healthcare providers such as Breast Screening Clinics, MRI and CT units; mobile Command Centres, Fire Appliances and Incident Welfare Centres for the Emergency Services as well as Hospitality Suites, Race Car Transporters and bespoke mobile projects for Corporate and Private Clients.

In business for over 40 years this family run business, employing over 100 people, has a friendly but busy sites.

Coach Builder – The Role:

In this role, you will work on various medical and emergency services vehicles, both new and old. Daily tasks include installing a variety of materials, such as GRP, wood, aluminium, and steel sections. The production workshop operates Monday to Friday, from 08:00am to 16:30pm.

Coach Builder - You:

Essential:

- Practical experience in a similar role or trade

- Good general wood/metal and fabrication skills (training provided for the right candidate)

- Ability to work to a high standard independently or as part of a team

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Professional handling of a variety of tasks

- Awareness of health and safety in a workshop environment

- Positive, can-do attitude

- Willingness to train and learn new skills

- Ability to lift items regularly due to the nature of the role

Desired:

- At least 1 year of coachbuilding/bodybuilding experience preferred

- Experience in a variety of roles is a plus

- Full UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential
