Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join North Bristol NHS Trust. The role involves delivering high-quality mental health care, supporting patients with acute and long-term conditions, and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality mental health nursing care in accordance with individual care plans.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Promote a therapeutic environment, ensuring patient safety and dignity at all times.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinical and legal requirements.
- NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse (RNMH).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Up-to-date PMVA/MAPA training (preferred).
- Experience in mental health settings (preferred but not essential for newly qualified nurses).
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
