Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join North Bristol NHS Trust. The role involves delivering high-quality mental health care, supporting patients with acute and long-term conditions, and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality mental health nursing care in accordance with individual care plans.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Promote a therapeutic environment, ensuring patient safety and dignity at all times.
  • Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinical and legal requirements.
Requirements
  • NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse (RNMH).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Up-to-date PMVA/MAPA training (preferred).
  • Experience in mental health settings (preferred but not essential for newly qualified nurses).
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
