Your new setting

This Bristol nursery is in search of an experienced managing head to join their staff as a nursery manager as soon as possible. This vibrant and nurturing nursery environment is dedicated to providing high quality early childhood education and care for young children at this first stage of life. They are looking for a passionate nursery manager with experience to lead the team and ensure the best outcomes for the children they care for. This BS16 nursery has a large support network in place for the new manager and is a supportive and friendly working environment.

Your new role

With this new role, you will be managing the nursery class of 25, ages 3 and up, and will be leading the day to day running to ensure these children get the best possible care. You will be managing and supporting nursery staff; this includes performance management and developing educational programmes that promote emotional development as well as educational value. With this new role, you will also handle administrative tasks and showcase leadership skills.

Requirements to succeed in your new role

  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 and Management experience
  • Two working references from your most recent jobs that apply relevance to the position
  • Previous experience with children with additional needs is desirable
