Room Leader
A fantastic opportunity has arisen with our Client based near Iron Acton, Bristol. They are looking for a Qualified Nursery Room Leader to support them with supporting each and every child in their room! Â This fantastic setting embraces the curiosity approach and offers real and natural object exploration opportunities for the children!
Main Responsibilities;
- Have an excellent understanding of the EYFS
- Be able to implement the EYFS in to planning activities
- Supporting the deputy Manager and Manager
- Having an overview of the Room all times whilst on duty and the Nursery is in operation and relaying any concerns immediately to the Nursery Manager,
- Build strong relationships with the team, the children and parents/carers
- To understand the importance of assessment, and ensure all children receive the statutory progress checks required.
- To maintain records of your key children’s development and learning journeys and share with parents, carers and other professionals.
- To be involved in out of working hours’ activities, e.g. training, staff meetings, etc
