Room Leader

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with our Client based near Iron Acton, Bristol. They are looking for a Qualified Nursery Room Leader to support them with supporting each and every child in their room!  This fantastic setting embraces the curiosity approach and offers real and natural object exploration opportunities for the children!

Main Responsibilities;

  • Have an excellent understanding of the EYFS
  • Be able to implement the EYFS in to planning activities
  • Supporting the deputy Manager and Manager
  • Having an overview of the Room all times whilst on duty and the Nursery is in operation and relaying any concerns immediately to the Nursery Manager,
  • Build strong relationships with the team, the children and parents/carers
  • To understand the importance of assessment, and ensure all children receive the statutory progress checks required.
  • To maintain records of your key children’s development and learning journeys and share with parents, carers and other professionals.
  • To be involved in out of working hours’ activities, e.g. training, staff meetings, etc
