If you are passionate about building strong relationships, understanding business culture, and making a lasting impact, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!Mixxos is currently seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our client based in Bristol. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise as an HR Generalist, supporting the company’s strategic growth and fostering a positive work environment. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, helping to shape and implement HR strategies that align with business goals.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business leaders and managers to understand HR needs and align strategies.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on people management, leadership development, and organisational change.
  • Lead and manage HR projects that support business objectives, such as culture transformation or diversity initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, advising on legal matters to mitigate risks.
  • Facilitate and lead change management processes within the organisation, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within HR processes to increase efficiency and enhance employee satisfaction.
  • Analyse workforce trends, assess talent gaps, and create solutions to address skills shortages.
  • Provide expertise in compensation and benefits, advising on market trends and developing competitive packages.
  • Support succession planning by identifying future leaders and developing career paths within the organisation.
  • Act as a liaison between senior management and employees, ensuring effective communication and resolving issues.
  • Foster a positive organisational culture by promoting employee well-being, engagement, and inclusion.
Key Requirements:
  • Chartered CIPD Level 7 (CIPD Level 5 will also be considered).
  • Proven HR Generalist experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment, but not essential.
  • Experience managing union grievances, conflict resolution, and maintaining positive union-management relationships.
  • Expertise in handling employee relations, including disputes, disciplinary actions, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and compliance.
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle complex issues effectively.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
  • Full UK driving licence with the ability to travel on average twice a month (occasional overnight stays required).
  • Willingness to progress your knowledge through CIPD and stay current on case law.
