About the role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to join a highly reputable private hospital based in Bristol. The hospital is the largest modern private healthcare provider in the South West and this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Occupational Therapist to join their friendly team. The team are passionate about person centred care and put their patients at the heart of everything they do and looking for a like-minded Occupational Therapist to join them. The hospital has excellent facilities as well as 5 well equipped modern operating theatres and an Intensive Care Unit.

Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as an Occupational Therapist and will be responsible for the following duties;

  • Assessment and treatment for patients within in and out- patient service
  • Pre-operative assessment and post-operative hand splinting clinic
  • Develop practice in assessing and addressing patients wellbeing and health needs
  • Develop and suggest improvements to services
  • Lead others in the development of knowledge

Who we're looking for

  • Degree (BSc Hons Occupational therapy) or equivalent is essential
  • HCPC registration with no restrictions
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • Post-Graduate Diploma in specialist programme
  • At least 2 years post graduate experience in UK is essential
  • Experience of post- operative hand splinting is essential
  • Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills and leading a team
  • Excellent communication skills
