Reed have partnered with a Portishead based company, hiring for an Office Manager on a part time, permanent basis.

Looking for someone to work 5 days per week, 25-30 hours per week. 8.30am start, Monday-Friday.

Salary - £27,000 full time equivalent - Pro rata'd down dependent on the hours you work

Joining a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. This role requires proactive engagement with directors, clients, consultants, and internal departments to ensure smooth and efficient office operations. The ideal candidate will possess a professional demeanour, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage the Director’s diary, considering external meetings and travel times.
  • Monitor and action emails for the Director, coordinating with the team to maintain schedules and meet deadlines.
  • Organise and prepare for meetings, including virtual setups, ensuring all necessary information and project files are up-to-date.
  • Assist in implementing and monitoring office procedures and systems.
  • Handle incoming calls and messages, taking appropriate actions as needed.
  • Manage document control, including typing, proofreading, and maintaining records.
  • Support HR tasks, such as the induction of new staff and maintaining training records.
  • Oversee office maintenance, including facilities management and ensuring areas like the kitchen and reception are tidy.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks as required, ensuring the smooth running of the office.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in office management or a similar administrative role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in standard office software and systems.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations is advantageous.
