I am looking for candidates both looking for a number of School Administrators for schools. This is a crucial role in the smooth running of the office in an educational setting. Please get in touch if your skills and experience match up with the following duties and requirements.

Requirements

Successful candidates will have…

  • Knowledge of SIMS (desirable, but not essential if you have worked in an educational setting previously).
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar administrative role within an educational setting.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using standard office software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Must undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the reception area, including answering calls, responding to emails, and greeting visitors.
  • Maintaining student records and databases accurately and confidentially.
  • Supporting staff with administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, and data entry.
  • Assisting with the organization of school events, meetings, and parent-teacher conferences.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication.
  • Managing school correspondence and distributing information to relevant parties.
  • Contributing to the overall positive atmosphere and ethos of the school.
  • Ensure all Safeguarding Policies are always adhered to and raise any concerns in line with school policy.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
