- We are currently seeking Night Weekend Class 1 Drivers for a client in Avonmouth.
- The role involves delivering to retail stores using curtain side and box trailers, as well as collecting containers from the port.
- Candidates must possess a UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence, a current DCPC Card, and a Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Experience with direct client deliveries is preferred, along with strong customer service skills and good geographical knowledge.
- The pay rate for this position is £20.47 per hour.
The position of Class 1 Day Driver involves:
* Delivering to retail stores on curtain side and box trailers on single and double deck trailers.
* Collecting multiple containers from port for delivery to distribution centre.
* Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers' expectations
Essential skills required for Class 1 Day Driver:
* Must have a UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence.
* Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
* Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
* Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
* Working to deadlines.
* Confident, polite and a team player.
* Good geographical knowledge.
* Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.
Pay rate 20.47 P/H
