We are currently looking for a Class 1/ HGV 1 Flatbed Driver to join the team in Bradley Stoke, Bristol, you will be driving a Class 1 Flatbed vehicle, usually completing 1 delivery each shift, Trunk run. Starting at 3pm a typical day could be up to 8 to 9 hours, working Monday to Friday.
You will need to strap and secure the load, complete vehicle checks and complete paperwork. However, no handball and no heavy lifting will be involved as the truck is loaded and unloaded for you by Crane.
This is a good opportunity for ongoing Class 1 / HGV 1 work, with the possibility of leading to a permanent role, working with a great team who support each other and a company who value their employees.
Class 1 experience is desired, however we are accepting drivers who have recently qualified.
Hours and Pay
- 18.00 per hour, paid weekly every Friday.
- Optional overtime available on Saturday, paid at an enhanced rate.
- Working Monday to Friday starting at 3pm, usually finished by midnight.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence, with category C+E.
- Valid Tacho and CPC.
- Safety boots, high viz and hard hat.
- An understanding of health and safety.
