Grade 1 - £13.70 per hour - overtime +41h £24.66 - Bonus £10 per dayGrade 2 - £14.00 per hour - overtime +41h £25.20 - Bonus £17.50 per dayGrade 3 - £15.15 per hour - overtime +41h £27.27 - Bonus £32.50 per daygap personnel Bristol are operating as an employment business and currently looking to recruit 4 gut room operatives for our client based in Westerleigh, Bristol, BS37. As a Gut room operative, you will work within a team handling and processing pork by-products.

Own transport is required due to the remote location of the site.

Responsibilities:

  • Harvesting, processing and distribution of natural pork casings, meat products and pharmaceutical products
  • Quality checking of products
  • Cleaning and stripping down offal into different animal by-product categories
  • Labelling products for correct placement
  • Maintain clean working practices to prevent slips and trips and avoid cross-contamination

The ideal candidate must:

  • Have a strong tolerance for odors
  • Have a strong stomach due to working with stomachs, spleens and intestines.
  • Be punctual and have good time management
  • Have good eye for detail
  • Experience using knife, however not essential as training will be provided
