The work hours are structured as 4 days on and 1 day off, specifically from 6:30am to 5:45pm, with Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays off every 5 weeks.
Candidates are required to have their own transport due to the remote location of the site and must possess a strong tolerance for odors and a strong stomach for handling animal by-products.
Experience using a knife is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided, and attention to detail is critical for quality checking and labeling products.

As a Gut room operative, you will work within a team handling and processing pork by-products.

Own transport is required due to the remote location of the site.

Responsibilities:

Harvesting, processing and distribution of natural pork casings, meat products and pharmaceutical products
Quality checking of products
Cleaning and stripping down offal into different animal by-product categories
Labelling products for correct placement
Maintain clean working practices to prevent slips and trips and avoid cross-contamination

The ideal candidate must:

Have a strong tolerance for odors
Have a strong stomach due to working with stomachs, spleens and intestines.
Be punctual and have good time management
Have good eye for detail
Experience using knife, however not essential as training will be provided
